Marianne is extremely thoughtful, professional and empowering. She reminds me that I'm doing great as a mum and listens to concerns I have and advises me regarding them. I never feel judged by her and I trust her so am happy to share and be open about how I'm feeling and doing, in turn my daughter is getting the best care.
I am quite satisfied.
I am always treated as an intelligent woman who has good insight into her own mental health condition and this enables me and my CPN to have a mutually respectful relationship which works from a basis of trust. I have complete faith that my CPN knows how to help me in situations when I am unable to deal with things myself. The building of a good relationship between client and CPN is pivotal to the service.
I have answered for my mother Elizabeth Stark, I am her daughter, Helen Webb.
Health visitors knew what she was on about. No improvements
I was at my lowest with drink and deppresion and felt like commiting suicide on witch i tried on a couple of occasions .But with the support kindness and understanding of my helper / worker kerry that made me see that life was worth living i have now stopped drinking i am getting back with my kids and grandkids and i am going into a new carrear and i feel like a new man and most of all my kids have said that to me i owe kerry so mutch sorry about the spelling
Consultant, social worker and care assistant have shown compassion and helpful support over the last 3 years. In the early days of my illness the IHT members were extremely helpful and supportive and the 24 hour & 7 day a week facility to ring them was invaluable, in addition to their home visits.
My visits to the Becklin Centre in Leeds in early 2013 to undergo ECT were made so much easier with the thoughtful and caring way all their staff treated me, my husband and friends who escorted me on the car journeys there and back home.
Able to access appointment at fairly short notice is invaluable for condition as I sometimes feel I am struggling. Having a support worker helps me feel I have ongoing support and not just sruggling at home. The Craven centre is fantastic support and local.
AT THE SURGERY WAITING AREA, MORE CONTROL SHOULDBE TAKEN ON THE
NOISE LEVEL, PARTICULARLY WITH CHILDREN NOT BEING KEPT UNDER CONTROL
AND PEOPLE SHOUTING TO EACH OTHER
We are sorry for your experience however the GP service is not part of BDCT and we unfortunately have no control over who accesses it. If you are waiting to see a District Nurse and find the room too loud, you could have a word with the District Nurse in clinic next time and ask if there is somewhere quieter you could wait in the future.
I was treated today by a district nurse. She was very kind and reassuring and explained things to me about my treatment. Very happy with my visit.
